About Hawke's Bay Inc
Introducing Hawke's Bay Incorporated
Hawke’s Bay’s Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) has a new name, a new mandate and structure, and decisive goals for the future.
Renamed Hawke’s Bay Incorporated (HB Inc) in 2005, the organisation is funded by the Napier City, Hastings District, Central Hawke's Bay District and Hawke’s Bay Regional Councils, but has merged with the region’s Economic Development Agency. As well as fulfilling the role of an RTO, the organisation is responsible for a wider mandate which can be summed up by their mission statement:
‘To competitively market Hawke’s Bay as a place to visit, live, work, invest and grow.’
HB Inc. is a commercially neutral organisation that has an impartial overview of the Hawke's Bay business community and this unique perspective provides an opportunity to assist business growth in the region.
